Terms and Conditions for Cathy van Zyl MW and Natasha Hughes’s Master Classes and Bridging Courses

By registering for Master Classes and/or Bridging Courses provided by Cathy van Zyl MW and Natasha Hughes MW (hereafter referred to as ‘Cathy’ and ‘Natasha’), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  • An initial, non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total course fee is payable on registration. We do not accept provisional bookings and places will only be confirmed once payment is received.
  • The balance of the course fee is due two weeks prior to the start of the course you have registered for at the latest. You will be sent an invoice for this final payment. Refunds of this sum are only available in exceptional circumstances, at the discretion of Cathy or Natasha.
  • In the unlikely event that a Bridging Course or Master Class is cancelled by us, you will be entitled to a full refund of the fees you have paid. We will not be liable for any costs you may have incurred to attend the cancelled course, for example travel, accommodation deposits, etc.
  • Candidates booked on these courses must meet the following eligibility requirements*. Candidates for Bridging Courses must have passed the WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines. Candidates for Master Classes must be currently enrolled on the IMW’s study programme as either a Stage One, Stage Two, Practical- or Theory-only student. (* Exceptions may be permitted by prior arrangement with either Cathy or Natasha.)
  • You acknowledge that the coaching you will receive on your Master Class/Bridging Course is not endorsed in an official capacity by either WSET or the IMW.
  • You recognise that any coaching provided is designed to help you towards your study goals, but that neither Cathy or Natasha can guarantee your success.
  • You may not, at any time, copy, reproduce, record, publish in any form, share, sell or otherwise make available to a third party any course material provided by Cathy or Natasha. Anyone breaching the terms of these conditions will be banned from participating in either Bridging Course or Master Classes.
